What is Mutrivia?
Mutrivia is a web application using game-based learning technique. It is an AI powered game which aims to gameify museum trips to make them more enjoyable and informative. It generates quizzes by utilizing data from museums, and let users compete by using their knowledge.
- It generates questions from the short texts provided by the museum.
- It creates a quiz for a group by using these questions.
- Who knows the best among the group wins the competition.
Mutrivia is easy to use.
There are 3 options for a user:
- Create and host a room.
- Join an existing room.
- Play solo.
Each user has to pick a nickname at the beginning
If a user hosts a room, he will get an unique id which let other users join his room and start the game.
If a user wants to join a room, he need to get the unique id for that room to join and play the game. Questions and chocies for them will appear on screen and the winner will be announced when the game is over.
If a user wants to play solo, then the user will get the quiz and the user will compete with all time players.
Mutrivia will be available on all browsers.
You can access Mutrivia from your favorite browser without donwloading the game.
What is the use of Mutrivia?
Museums have an essential role while maintaining cultural heritage, however, the way these heritages are displayed in museums is not the most effective way to take the visitors' attention. When people visit museums, they tend to be bored and easily distracted. Thus, museums start to initiate projects that make use of new technologies aiming to create memorable experiences. Since interactive experiences typically leave the most impression on people, gamification tools and techniques are influential in drawing museum visitors’ attention.
Some of the benefits of Mutrivia are:

- Increase in quality of time spent by visitors.
